About me
Stanislav Počta graduated from general veterinary medicine at University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno in 1985.
After the privatization of the veterinary service he started working in a veterinary practice for small animals in Nové Město nad Metují.
He actively participates in domestic and international congresses and seminars and publishes in Czech and foreign professional journals. In 1996-1999 he graduated from the Certificate of attendance – European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) – Veterinary dermatology and in 2007 he defended his dissertation (Ph.D.) on Hypersensitivity reactions in dogs.
He is a member of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology, the Czech Association of Small Animal Veterinarians and the Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons of the Czech Republic.
He likes to spend his free time hiking, rock climbing, skiing and travelling. His hobbies also include photography, entomology and ornithology.
